See Village in Action
Select from a dozen or more demonstration Villages below. These are template examples — others can be made available if there's sufficient demand; contact us. Each demo is a real Village with seeded content showing what the platform looks like in operation. The data is deliberately fictional but you can experiment: post, edit, delete, invite, upload. Please be respectful and constructive. If this might interest others in your community, please share.
All demos run on sovereign infrastructure — Catalyst Cloud (New Zealand) or OVH (France/EU). No US providers in the stack. Demos reset nightly (NZ time) to a clean baseline, so the next visitor sees fresh content.
What you can do in each demo
Each demo opens as a Guest in Member view — browse stories, gallery, calendar, polls, documents, and the Village AI help widget. The demo banner at the top of every demo page lets you switch to Moderator view to see what moderators see. You can post, edit, delete, invite, and upload to feel the surface firsthand; everything you write rolls back at the nightly reset.
An app-generator can copy these features in an afternoon. What it can't generate is the protection underneath every Village — governed by design, sovereign AI, a provable record, and federation without a platform.

For boards, trustees, committees & governance leads
A free, self-paced course on why non-sovereign deliberation records create governance, legal and trust risk — and how sovereign-record architecture changes an organisation's risk posture. Eight board-literate modules, facilitated group exercises, downloadable worksheets, and a glossary. Shared in good faith under CC BY 4.0; koha welcome. A subtle on-ramp to Village Governance.

The companion to the free course — a lean board governance Village
Finished the course? Explore a working board governance Village — board members, Resolutions & Minutes, and a real deliberation carried from proposal through discussion to a recorded resolution (the capstone "governance memo" as a sovereign record). Starts lean; the help widget answers the course's own terms.

Regulated entities — AML/CTF due-diligence & AI-use certification

Otago Hill Cabinetry — small business workspace
A sovereign workspace for small businesses (consultants, contractors, professional services, creative agencies). CRM contacts, time tracking, invoicing with NZ/AU GST handling, project coordination. Business-Plan Deliberation — AI critiques your plan and you resolve and endorse every point — with the plan and its full deliberation kept as a sovereign, provable record. Payment processing via Airwallex (NZ-regulated) — no Stripe, no US payment processors.

A privately-held NZ mortgage lender — the sovereign back-office
The relationship, document, and audit layer for a mortgage lender — running beside the loan system, not replacing it. Borrower pipeline, a secure magic-link document portal, e-signatures, a compliance & disclosure register, and an immutable audit trail — every inquiry and decision kept as CCCFA/AML evidence by construction. Deliberately contains no regulated lending core. The wedge is the sovereign record and a defensible process.

Southern Trades Talent — NZ trades recruitment consultancy
Sovereign, rule-bound candidate vetting for a trades recruiter — an editable ruleset with a locked bias-guard, a governed assessment, an audit-logged decision trail, and a human in the loop. Confidential client mandates, with privacy by design for candidates: a CV stays on sovereign infrastructure (NZ or EU, never US), is never sold or fed to overseas AI, and candidates never see one another. The wedge is sovereignty and a defensible audit trail — not an applicant-tracking system.
